The East Midlands Chamber –
Business Awards
We have been working hard for the past few years and are proud of our achievements. Our newest achievements come after winning the Excellence in Innovation award and Apprentice of the Year (Cameron Browne). Winning these awards mean a lot to us as a company, but a lot more to us as a team. We see this as an amazing way to give back to the team after all of their hard work.
Innovation
Sponsored by Rolls-Royce, The Excellence in Innovation Award is one that Devtank are incredibly proud of. Rolls-Royce being the sponsors were also the judges, and visited us as part of their judging process. To be recognised by a company as iconic as Rolls-Royce, a business that have contributed a wealth of history to Derbyshire’s Engineering Industry, is an amazing privilege.
Apprentice of the Year
The team are proud to see Cameron Browne awarded as this year’s ‘Apprentice of the Year’, as he has more than deserved this fete. Since day one of his apprenticeship, he has shown courage and passion to his work, as well as huge dedication to the company. We were also finalists for Environmental Impact, which is a perfect fit for OpenSmartMonitor, as Devtank thrive to bring great impact to the de-carbonisation of business.
Top 100 Awards
On top of this wonderful news, Anthony Yeomans and Erin Delaney were both nominated and awarded with The Manufacturer’s Top 100! As suggested by its title, this awards those who have given greatly towards the manufacturing industry. Erin, our project and quality manager, was awarded the Unsung Hero category. Anthony, Devtank’s Digital Marketing Apprentice, was awarded with both Digital Transformer and Young Pioneer categories. This really displays how much impact they have had on the company, as they have only been with Devtank for less than a year.
OpenUK Awards
Topping off this surprising run, we have also been announced as finalists for Sustainability and Hardware for this year’s OpenUK Awards! We wish all the finalists the best of luck and look forward to attending the awards night at The House of Lords.
